INFANTRY RIFLE 1777, Year IX, flintlock, with its bayonet (Reproduction for re-enactment) Faithful reproduction of the French flintlock rifle, modified and adopted during the Year IX of the French Revolution (and then the Empire/Napoleon I) . A basic weapon for Napoleon's infantry, it differs from the 1777 model by the shape of the battery and the springs of the swivel ring and the rod. The lock and fittings are made of steel, with the exception of the flash pan, which is made of brass. Oiled walnut wood butt Faithful reproduction of the 1777 Year IX model infantry rifle (Marked ‘Me Imp St Etienne’ for Imperial Arms Manufacturer of Saint Etienne) . Rifle sold in full with its buffalo straps and bayonet. The lock works perfectly well, the hammer has three positions (uncocked/half-cocked/cocked) . Functional trigger and flint that strikes sparks.
