Authentic Cavalry Pistol 1822T bis, 2nd Empire era - Napoleon III 74 1822 Tbis model standard-issue cavalry percussion pistol (originally a flintlock pistol, converted to percussion) . Functional mechanism (both notches) and barrel with remnants of scratches visible. Very healthy and solid walnut wood components (no wormholes, but with several very high quality repairs to the joints at the butt and side of the lock) . Metal parts very healthy and shiny (see photos, on the iron part on the side of the trigger and barrel around the firing point and especially the tip) .
