Complete flintlock rifle converted to percussion 1822T bis Manufacture Royale de Charleville (rare) . 79 Superb flintlock rifle (originally 1777 model or 1822) converted to percussion and a grooved barrel (1822 T bis model) . Healthy, shiny metal parts, in very nice condition. Grooved barrel interior (see photos) . Walnut rifle wood with some signs of wear (chip behind the lock + on the length of the barrel and rod between the swivel ring and rod) + some worm holes (2 or 3 near the muzzle band and 5 or 6 near the rod) . The lock works, the hammer has three positions (uncocked/half-cocked/cocked) . Functional trigger. Several markings on the wood and metal parts: - Lock: marking Manufacture Royale de Charleville + the letter D in a coat of arms + the letter N topped with a star in a coat of arms (inspector Nicaise André from 1812 to 1830) - Butt: remains of a round sticker with an illegible boxwood centre + remains of Charleville marking and serial number 520 - Barrel: 3 dots (the same ones are on the recoil pad) + several military markings on the hidden side of the barrel (see photos) - Other metal parts: D on the swivel ring - Rod: letter H in a circle - Recoil pad: lowercase letter M in a circle and 3 dots (the same ones on the breech tail) Features: Total length 146. 5 cm Barrel length without breech tail 108 cm Weight when empty: 4 kg Rod: 99 cm Important: 1) Collectable firearm, class D (free-to-trade) . 2) Registered shipping with declared value and insurance. 3) As long as the ad is online, the item is available.
