Superb travel percussion pistol with octagonal barrel Mechanism and spring in great condition. Beautiful walnut wood butt in perfect condition. Veined wood. Chest and hammer carved with gridded pattern (which makes it very unusual) . I find this pistol to be elegant and feminine. Lovely percussion pistol, circa 1830, possibly from the First Empire! A must-have for a magnificent collection or even for an amateur shooter of antique and historical weapons.
