Hereby I offer a beautiful original French flint rifle, an Infantry officer rifle from 1827. It is a model 1816 made in St. Etienne. Very clear signs and markings. The powder pan has a special sealing slide which does its job well. The cock yokes neatly in 2 positions (1 loading position, cannot be pulled and 1 fire position) Tight springs. The rifle has a total length of 131,5 cm. The barrel is 92 cm. PLEASE NOTE! So slightly shortened. The walnut butt (lacquered) is neat, with normal wear and tear. On the first 2 brass bands there is slight slack, on the rear (end of barrel) there is quite a bit of slack (due to shortening) . That is a minus, otherwise really a very nice weapon with clear stamps / signing. All parts of the rifle belong together, that is also easy to see, everything fits well.
