Pair of French Officer combat pistols, First Empire model 1807, transformed into percussion late 1820`s, in case. Barrels eightfold, with 16 cm long, smooth bore , slightly " tromblonné" in is end,Slightly Plain steel garrisons and beautiful patine. Plain locks , Checkered walnut stocks . Original wale Bone rods. Springs very strong. Mechanically perfect in armed and security positions. In a Mahogany case, central scutcheon in brass, not used, closing pins ( this is not is original case) . Interior lined with velvet, compartmentalized, containing: Brass vintage powder flask ; lubrificant bottle, unmarked; apocryphal box, brass, unmarked for fulminant, XIX century steel mold and apocryphal screwdriver with horn handle. One side plare substitued screw. Proof mark St. Étienne , and I 8 ( 1800?) . Signed by HYACINTHE JEAN á TOULON ( VAR) . 1778-1841, ÉLEVE DE BOUTET á VERSAILLES.
