Cavalry or saddle flintlock pistol 1777 T Type 2: Total length: 33 cm Barrel length: 19 cm calibre: 17. 1 mm Weight: 1. 4 kg Year: 1785 Chest pistol second type: no belt hook, thunder with three sides, enlarged trigger guard. Bulb type rod and pierced (not for the first type) . Made from 1783 to 1792 in a few copies (the first type from 1778 to 1783) . This model was adopted by the USA, made under the name of North & Cheney 1799 (used during the war of independence) . Metal parts: orange peel, barrel interior is healthy Marking on thunder: year "85" and some punches. Lock: marked "Saint Etienne" with a crowned J. Butt with markings that are difficult to read: 1786 . . . AY Mechanism is in very good condition, complete and functional without any play, very tight springs.
