Watercolour depicting a country scene with characters, signed F. Mancini on bottom right. Fancesco Mancini, a painter born in Naples in 1830 and deceased in 1905. Also known as Francesco Lord Mancini, he attended the "reale istituto di belle arti di Napoli" at a very young age. Over the years he participated in Bourbon exhibitions, also attending several national exhibitions. His art changed over time by attending the studio of his colleague Filippo Palizzi, who brought him closer to nature. At the National Exhibition in Naples in 1877, his painting was purchased by King Umberto I. He made high-level friendships by presenting his works around Europe, where during his stay in London he was given the nickname "Lord". In excellent condition, without traces of restorations. The buyer will receive a complimentary frame (not pictured) . It being a gift, we do not accept any complaints regarding damage to the frame caused by shipping.
