This print was created from Herrmann's classic black and white photo of the four Beatles with George Martin. The original print was used for the re-release of Sir George Martin's autobiography 'Summer of Love' by Genesis Publications to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of the album 'Sgt.Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' in 2007.
The 30th March 1967 was a historic day in the Beatles' calendar as following the recording session photographed here by Herrmann, they made their way to Michael Cooper's Flood Street studio to be photographed for the cover of 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band'.
