Franklin D. Roosevelt Signed Photograph
TLS, one page, 6.75 x 8.75, Assistant Secretary of the Navy letterhead, November 24, 1915. Letter to Edward C. Ford, in part: "It is very thoughtful and kind of you to send me the documents relating to Captain Little. I am very glad to have them, as I am about to have all the papers inlaid and bound in chronological order and they will probably eventually find a place in the Naval History Society, which is shortly to erect a naval and marine museum in Washington. The little papers are of great historical value." Nicely double-matted and framed with a portrait and biographical plaque to an overall size of 22 x 19.5. In fine condition, with the signature very faded, but still legible. A desirable, early letter by FDR, who served as Assistant Secretary of the Navy under Woodrow Wilson from 1913 to 1920.
