Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt Signed Photograph

Vintage sepia matte-finish 9 x 12 Harris & Ewing photo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen to Panamanian violin virtuoso Alfredo De Saint Malo, "To Senor Alfredo de St. Malo, With good wishes, Eleanor Roosevelt" and "Franklin D. Roosevelt.” In very good condition, with trimmed edges, light silvering to the darker areas of the image, and overall warping, along with some shininess to FDR's jacket, apparently from onetime exposure to moisture. In 1939, Saint Malo was invited to Washington, DC, to present a private concert for the Roosevelts at the White House.
