Great pairing of items: a TLS signed "Franklin D. Roosevelt," one page, 8 x 10.5, State of New York Executive Chamber letterhead, August 1, 1932, in part: "Thank you very much for your nice letter. I am very glad to have the covers for my collection"; and a block of two-cent postage stamps honoring FDR, signed in fountain pen by the first lady, "Eleanor Roosevelt." In overall fine condition, with three file holes to the left edge of the FDR letter. As President Roosevelt was renowned as a stamp collector, these philatelic items are especially desirable.
