Two 19th century ceramic items consisting of a French faience jug of baluster form decorated with a hand-painted songbird and a hinged pewter lid & foot, height to thumbpiece 7", together with a British tin-glazed earthenware pitcher in cobalt blue decorated with a hand- painted image of a gentleman seated on horseback within a wavy cartouche, a small tin pellet applied beneath the rim noting 0/19, height to thumbpiece, 7".
Condition Report: Pitcher: hairline crack to underside of base
