Rare French Orientalist gilt bronze mantel clock, depicting an ormolu Chinaman with a pipe and exotic bird seated on a faux-bois patinated bronze clock encasement with an ornate ormolu base, circular steel dial with Roman numerals, stamped "Gillion / 5, Rue du Braque N. / a Paris," movement stamped "1621," and "Gillion / Etablissement de Paris / 833" and "Pons Medaille D'Argent 1825," early 19th century. 17" H x 13" W x 4.25" D.
