Condition report:
Oil on canvas which has been lined. The painting has suffered from old damages and losses to the paint layer which have been repaired but are evident in the surface texture; notably at the upper right corner. Extensive retouching covering losses and reinforcing areas of the composition. Some of the retouchings are now matte compared to the surrounding areas. The varnish is yellowed and slightly uneven. There are minor losses to the gilding on the frame but overall it is in a good condition.
