Brocot, Paris". 8-day time and strike movement with visible escapement, a two-part porcelain dial, Roman numerals and sweep seconds hand over a lower calendar dial with outer Month indicator and subsidiary Day/Date dials below a circular Moon Phase indicator aperture. Black Slate case with shaped top, fluted quarter columns and shaped molded base. Dial and movement both marked "A. Brocot, Paris" with the serial # "2596" on the movement and pendulum.
