French silver chocolate pot - Paris late 19th - early 20th Century, mark of EYSEN ANTOINE
of circular shape base, truncated cone-shaped body with foliate decoration, beak-shaped spout attached to the body and turned wooden side handle. In the center of the hinged lid a small opening to inset the whisk covered with a pinecone shaped knob. Hallmarked with post 1838 French marks in use in Paris for 950/1000 silver, silversmith Eysen Antoine (1895). Base diameter 9.5 cm, height 22 cm, width with handle 21.5 cm. Weight 450 gr. Item condition grading: **** good (hardly visible minor scratches).
