Small 16th century fresco from the Lombard area, transferred on canvas, depicting a Madonna with Child in her arms.
. It comes from a small country church and it is probably the second ‘strappo’ fresco made about 30 years ago.
. The face features are outlined with red colour, the halos are yellow-gold, and the background is decorated. The contours are undefined. It features white plaster, a stretcher (old but not coeval) and a plywood panel to avoid damage. Some restorations made when the canvas was transferred to canvas. Size approx. 42x37 cm
