Frog on Lattice Base Mechanical Bank

DESCRIPTION: "Frog on Lattice Base" mechanical cast iron bank, manufactured by J & E Stevens with green top and base, red paint evident, and functional hand lever to dispense coin into frog's mouth. "PAT AUG 20 1872" stamped on top, "BANK" stamped on all sides. PROVENANCE: From the estate of Thomas A. Imswiler. MEASURMENTS: 4" long x 4" deep x 4-3/4" high. CONDITION: Good. Light wear of paint, as expected with age, along with corrosion to frog.
