GERMAN EICKHORN, SOLENGEN, SA DAGGER, C1939, L 9 5/8" BLADE *
A German 'SA' (Sturmabteilung) dagger with an 8 3/4" long double-edged drop-forged nickel-silver plated blade in its original scabbard. The dagger has a cast pommel and tang nut. Its contoured wood grip has inlaid to its obverse, the enameled "SA" signet near the pommel and an eagle and swastika to its center. "Alles für Deutschland" (Everything for Germany) is etched, in Fraktur script, to the front of the blade. The reverse of the blade is etched an RZM logo and manufacturers code, "M7/66 Eickhorn, Solingen" and "1939". The dagger comes with its original brown enamel painted sheet metal scabbard with nickel plated sheet metal fittings. Includes a nickel plated clip and leather belt hanger with RZM logo and M5/71 and 'OLC' and 'diamond' logo on the clip.
