GERMAN MEDIEVEL SUIT OF ARMOR 20TH CENTURY MADE

American, 20th century. Displayed reproduction suit of armour in the German medieval style with battle ax, having applied gold color on each side of the breast plate with one side reading 'hilf her am kreig' which translates to 'help lord of war' and the other side a pictorial of Jesus on the crucifix with vines, floral displays and medallions, gold color designs cover the the arm protection, pauldron, couter as well as the taces and the tasset. Includes a loose full size spear head without staff. No apparent makers mark, on custom wooden stand, held up by an internal wooden frame.

Condition: In good condition with some overall light surface rust forming. Leather is supple.
