FIRST EDITION, folio (c.32 x 23.5cm), engraved throughout, table of songs with advertisement, a tall copy, modern half calf, old black-gilt label, lacking list of subscribers, some foxing and creasing to lower corners
We can trace no record of this first edition appearing at auction for over ten years. The subscription list is absent from three of the four copies in the British Library (including both copies in the Royal Music Library) and elsewhere.
