G.M. Skinner Turkey Foot Blade Blanks

Nice size assortment - all copper finish with silver backs, including #8, #6, #5, #4 1/2 and a #1 sizes, all marked with the 1886 patent date and Clayton, NY markings. Condition is unrigged, Ex.This Skinner lot, along with all others noted in this auction, come from past owners of the G.M. Skinner Mfg. Co., beginning when Arthur T. Freer, owner of several lure making companies, obtained Skinner's inventory from the Clayton, NY shop, in turn selling the contents to Thomas M. Delaney in the early 1960's. The last transfer of ownership took place in 1998, when the remaining lures, blanks and other Skinner related items, made their way into a private collection. The Skinner items included in this sale come on the heels of a truly historic find from the G.M. Skinner building attic, sold in Lang's April 2019 auction, and answer the question as to why the attic find included no lures, blanks, etc. Many items from this collection are one-of-a-kind, all are certainly important pieces from this successful lure company's history..
