Comprising four individual pieces including a large and impressive green glazed mug with applied elephant head handle, of tapering form with ribbed sides with raised Latin inscription "Henrirus Septimus" - Henry VII. Underside with inscribed signature E. W. Bingham - Castle Hedingham No.69 and with applied "castle" mark. Height 10.8 inches, greatest width 12 inches. Together with another handled green glazed mug with applied full length human form handle and the sides with applied figures representing the four seasons with corresponding inscriptions; Sprinz, Sumen, Harferst, Pinter. The underside inscribed Castle Hedingham Essex in England and with applied castle. Height 6.25 inches. And another smaller handled mug or cup in green glaze with applied motto FEARE GOD 1630. The underside inscribed E.W. B. Eng. No. 160, height 4.5 inches, as well as a brown glassed pitcher with applied horse shoes and crowns, the underside with applied castle mark, height 6 inches.
