Condition Report: Overall very good original untouched condition. The canvas is original and the painting has never been lined. The paint surface is stable with no signs of losses or lifting, and retains the thick undisturbed impasto. Ultra violet black light examination reveals no restoration or repairs. The paint surface also would appear to exhibit the original varnish coat which has yellowed some and exhibits some surface dirt. Subsequently we feel the painting would brighten some if cleaned. Contained in likely its original gilt wood frame and linen liner with engraved artist's plaque.
