GREAT NORTHERN 1892 A&W "ADAMS" RAILROAD LANTERN.

A standard A&W No. 11 Steel Guard "ADAMS" wire bottom model with double guard, embossed "G. N. Ry." Bayonet fount is later A&W style but fits well and has a no. 1 functioning ratchet burner affixed. Globe is an early flashed red, molded, extended base example, pre-dating no. 39 era, and is nicely copper wheel engraved "ST. P M & M.R.R" for the St. Paul, Minneapolis & Manitoba RR, a Great Northern predecessor. Globe fits well and looks good in the frame. There are a few no-harm flakes off the bottom fitter. A great example with original patina. Condition: (9.0). Dimensions: 10 - 1/2" x 7 - 1/2" x 7 - 1/2".
