GROUP OF JAPANESE CARVED CANES. Comprising a group of 5 vintage Japanese Meiji carved bamboo canes of traditional style, two carved with scenes of samurais, one finely carved with an oni, another carved with a snake and signed, and another example in black lacquer cut back to a monkey with beehive, fully signed by artist, although with shrinkage crack. Together with a likely non-Japanese carved cane, overall with scrolling vines. Greatest length 37.5 inches (95 cm).
