Gemstone: Rubellite Tourmaline - 11.17 Cts. Brazil Featuring an elegant trillion shape, this Rubellite Tourmaline is a showstopper. This particular variety of Tourmaline is known for its intense pinkish-red color. This particular example has a captivating reddish-pink hue. The color is so well saturated that it is hard to take one's eye off of it as it almost looks like a piece of Jolly Rancher candy. Tourmaline gemstones are commonly included, and this example is no exception. There are visible inclusions but which serve to add depth to the stone. There are a few nicks to the pavilion, but, otherwise, this large 11+ carat dazzler is in good condition.
