19th century, the slant front opening to an interior fitted with an inset writing surface and a variety of drawers and cubbyholes surmounting a central cupboard over two small drawers and two long drawers, raised on cabriole legs ending in ball-and-claw feet, the whole richly ornamented with gilt and gesso figural scenes in the chinoiserie taste.

Condition Report: In good condition. Structurally sound. Minor wear to the decorated surface, mostly around the feet. The leather blotter has old stains and scattered losses from use.
