George III silver coffee pot, Charles Wright, London 1769, standing in a cast gadrooned foot, pear shaped body, engraved with a contemporary armorial crest for Stephen Fox, Strangways, 1st Earl of Ilchester, the hinged cover decorated with gadrooning and terminating in a swirling cartouche finial, height 25.5cm, 26.5 oz gross.Condition Report Finial and lid are good, probable repair to where the lid joins to the hinge, spout is good, handle mounts are good (wooden handle probably a replacement), foot very slightly uneven.
