George III silver teapot of shaped rectangular form, with engraved decoration, crest and initials, silver handle, on an integral pedestal base (Dublin 1814) Carden Terry & Jane Williams. All at approximately 34ozs. 35cm across.Condition Report General overall condition poor, badly tarnished with surface wear, scratching and dents, pedestal has a bad solder repair where it joins body and shows inside, spout is dented, has been resoldered where it joins body and is not on straight, pouring end is bent, inner grille at lower end of spout has been removed, pedestal base is distorted and does not sit square, handle is dented and loose, pins are loose, one missing, ivory insulators are missing, lower handle mount has been repaired/resoldered out of alignment, cover is very tight fit, knop is dented and loose, ivory insulator has been removed.
