Germany, Used in China, 1890, 2m Brownish Purple (36; Michel V37e). Used with 1889, 20pf Ultramarine, 50pf Chocolate (49, 51; Michel V48b, V50d), horizontal pairs of each, all tied by "Kaiserlich Deutsche Postagentur Shanghai 12/5 94" circular datestamps on large linen-lined printed "Carlowitz & Co., Shanghai" corner card blue cover to Hamburg, Germany, cover with vertical file fold and some wrinkling, stamps just barely affecting by some light peripheral toning along perfs, still Very Fine, a particularly scarce commercial use of the 2m stamp as most examples were used on parcel cards or other postal forms
