Feldpostexped des Ostasiatischen Expeditionscorps 11/12" circular datestamp on 1900 cover to Wetzlar, Germany, manuscript "Feldpostbrief" endorsement, Wetzler (Jan. 29, 1901) arrival backstamp, accompanied by original contents VERY FINE. A PARTICULARLY RARE USE OF THE GERMANY 25-PFENNINGS USED ON COVER TO GERMANY DURING THE BOXER REBELLION. It is interesting to note that letters from soldiers up to 50g were sent free of charge. With 1989 Steuer certificate. The 25pf is listed but unpriced in Michel on cover. Michel €3,200 as used off-cover.
