Important work depicting the face of a Saint by the artist Giacinto Brandi, certainly used by the same as a model for larger works. The attribution was given on the occasion of the presentation at the online auction n. 15 "DIMORE" at Gregory's in Bologna, lot 60 with an estimate of 3,000/6,000, price €3,720 and was used as the cover image of the catalogue (see photo) . The work in question is in excellent condition, having been correctly restored to the pictorial surface with the application of a new expansion frame to ensure its future conservation.
