Gibson - ES-165 - Electric guitar - United States of America - 1991

Here is a beautiful GIBSON ES 165 year of construction February 1991 in sunburst colour, the maple laminated top and bottom gives the guitar its own dark sound. The gold-plated hardware includes a zig zag tailpiece Tune-O-matic bridge, the GIBSON 490-R pickup and the Grover tuners. There is a volume and a tone control. This is one of the first ES 165 in February 1991. In November 1991, they got the signature of Herb Ellis on the head. The guitar is ideal for making a clean jazz sound. I use Elixir strings 10-52 bright smooth and play with a Koch Twintone II tube amp. The neck shape is particularly suitable for playing barré chords.
