Gibson Sonex P-180 Deluxe from 1981, in a very rare Solid Silver color, of which only 100 were built, as the Gibson and Wikipedia databases mention.

. Guitar with a truly exceptional timbre and sustain, built with a resonwood body (Multi-Phonic technology) , a maple neck, a rosewood fretboard with mother-of-pearl dot. It is equipped with a 3-position pickup switch, the Tune-0-Matic bridge, and 3 knobs for volume and tone control.

This is the only Sonex that comes as standard with Bill Lawrence's Velvet Brick humbuckers, which at the time worked for Gibson (all other sonex models mount the common Dirty Fingers) , equipped with an exclusive steel mounting plate on the back of the pickup and which differ from all the other Gibson pickups because they have 2 height adjustment screws on one side and one on the other. They sound really wonderful (not comparable to all the current Gibson production) .
