Gilt Bronze & Leaded Glass Fire Screen. The intricate gilt bronze frame has a central laurel and ribbon crest with large Spartan helmet profiles at the corners; the base has swooping crossed stretchers with 6 legs on ball and claw feet. The frame is centered with 14 large blue slag glass leaded panels which are overlaid with relief swirling decorated ribs, applied flowers, filigree and ribbons. 1 glass panel is damaged, overall good condition. Dimensions: 34 in. high x 33.5 in. wide x 9 in. deep.
