Godin - SD 22 - Electric guitar - Canada - 2002
The Godin is made of rock maple (Canadian maple, used for making 22-fret short scale neck - 24 ¾″) . Godin is proud to manufacture guitars with high quality Canadian woods and USA workmanship, a niche guitar, known and appreciated by experts. The SD22 has two ceramic GS1 single coils and a GHB1 humbucker built specifically for Godin. The Godin SD22 is very pleasant, comfortable to hold and has a very smooth neck. The mechanisms hold the tuning well and the vibrato arm is easy to control. The Godin has a sound that may resemble a combination of a Les Paul and a Telecaster, rather warm, mellow and harmonious. The treble is not exaggerated but rather controlled, the notes come out crystal clear.
