Gorgeous Roman Glass Bottle Rainbow Iridescence

**First Time At Auction**

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A lovely bottle that is free-blown from yellow-green glass with a concave base, gradually expanding walls, a rounded shoulder beneath a corseted neck, and a flared rim with an in-folded lip. The entire vessel is covered in layers of silvery and rainbow-hued iridescence that elegantly complements its spring hues. Size: 1.9" W x 4.2" H (4.8 cm x 10.7 cm)

Provenance: ex-Davis collection, Houston, Texas, acquired before 2013 from various auction houses in London and New York
