Gorgeous tablecloth for 12 - hand embroidered, in pure linen and antique Burano lace, Venice, 1960s. Very elegant tablecloth for 12, complete with napkins, made of pure hand-embroidered high-quality linen and enriched by numerous Burano lace applications in the middle and all along the edge, giving the item preciousness and elegance. It is an old artefact from the 1950s/60s, a period in which works of art were manufactured, today the market offers only commercial imitation products of dubious origin and low quality, that are only imitations made in foreign countries. These items were made during several months of work by Murano based artists specialised in this kind of handmade lace. Handmade, in excellent condition, like new, never used. Size: 235 X 140 cm.
