Gorham Mfg. Co. (American Important antique American Art Nouveau cigar & match vases, circa 1902. Crafted of fine quality solid sterling silver. Cigar vase cast and chased with nude mermaids surrounded by waves and foliage with flared top rim. Figural dolphin footed base. Match vase a has mermaid faces surrounded by waves with dolphin footed base. According to Gorham's records the cigar vase was part of a larger six piece smoker's set. Cigar vase marked with Gorham hallmarks Sterling B1886. Match vase marked with Gorham hallmarks Sterling B1887. Cigar vase measures 3 1/4 in. x 3 1/4 in. Match vase measures 2 1/4 in. x 2 1/4 in.
