Late 19th century Gorham sterling silver vase with a floral silhouette embossed on two sides, the face with hand applied enamel decoration, a technique rarely seen from Gorham. Three enamel colors composed of green vines with yellow and blue cobalt petals. An all-over bruised and textured subtle rust effect, a flared top with rolled edge and a gold washed interior.
Impressed tea brand for Gorham Manufacturing Company on the underside, sterling, 1611 M (model number) as well as the date of character for 1897.
