Great Britain - Air Force - Supermarine Swift jet original tunnel testing data
**** RARE **** Supermarine Swift fighter aircraft original wind tunnel test folder! These are two folders: 1. The original handwritten graphs/sketches/calculations on tracing paper/quadrille paper of the wind tunnel tests for this Supermarine aircraft, the first British made jet aircraft that broke the speed of sound soon after it went into service in early 1950's. 2. Black book binder contains printed copies of this, same material, that is normally distributed to the MOD officials and ministers of defence. Now, these belonged to the estate of one of the main engineers (possibly the chief engineer) that worked on the famous project. I had acquired it decades ago for my aero memorabilia collection. It could be the only set in existence, as the original project data and memorabilia of this aircraft was all destroyed/went missing and RAF Museum does not have it not does any other museum in the world, I had made some inquiries. Please note this is museum grade material.
