[ translate ]

**Originally Listed At $700**

Magna Graecia, western colonies, Archaic period, ca. 6th to early 5th century BCE. Nice remains of red and white pigment grace the piece. Terracotta figures like this one have been found in private dwellings where they may have been part of a shrine or had a religious purpose. Others decorated tombs and sanctuaries. Size: 4.95" W x 9.35" H (12.6 cm x 23.7 cm); 10.9" H (27.7 cm) on included custom stand.
