Griffin Shinemaster Oak Wood Box, Mid-Century 1940s-60s
Vintage Mid-Century (post WWII-early 1960s) Griffin Shinemaster Shoe Shine Box. Solid oak wood with brass hardware and the original Griffin Shinemaster front plaque. Nice construction with interlocking finger joints (the method of joining the corners of wood together) that gives this oak box a fancy feel. The gold, red, and black sticker on the front is still present. It is refinished and can be used as a vanity box.
