Hart, measuring 11.25? x 14? x 2?, containing over 300 images dedicated to the prolific film career of Hart and consisting almost entirely of movie scenes clipped from books, magazines, and programs showing the stoic actor as he shoots pistols, ends bar fights, leads wagon trains, romances leading ladies, and horses around with his brown and white pinto Fritz, replete with his trademark intensity and unflinching glare. The opening page of the album features a handwritten list of Hart’s many films between the years 1914 and 1925, and many of the photographs are annotated in an unknown hand to identify the actors, locations, and years of the images, which range from 1905 to 1938.
