Group of 4 Late Roman/Byzantine hinged bronze seals

A group of 4 Late Roman/Byzantine hinged bronze seals, c. 5th - 6th Century AD, one with floral decoration and a boar, 20 mm, another a horned antelope, 25 mm, one with a neatly incised bird, 18 mm, and the last with a boar as well, 19 mm. All one side of a pair and well-preserved. Interesting types of stamp seals which seem to mainly originate from central to eastern Europe and date to a narrow time period, much like Roman seal boxes. Ex collection of Peter Cheremisinoff, NJ.
