A gilt-metal-mounted leather covered box with a fitted interior
A tole peinte box decorated with bird and flowers
A painted and printed wood box decorated with leafy garland
A shaped footed tole peinte tea caddy
A miniature fall front desk with a fitted interior over two short and two long drawers
The largest 4 1/2 x 10 x 6 1/2 in.
Condition Report: Each with wear. The topographical box with a warped top, the box does not close, there is crazing and losses to the surface, the interior fabric has come away from the wood, is split and faded. The Chinese Export style box with minor wear. The leather with tears and losses to cover, sides and base, the interior of the cover is lacking along with the upper lock mechanism, the feet likely replaced. The tole box with wear and some losses, more pronounced at edges. The leafy garland box with very faded decoration, wear and some age splits. The tole caddy with some losses to the decoration and oxidation, otherwise in good condition. The desk with staining, losses, wear and repairs, charming.
