LEVIN folk dreadnought manufactured by Herman Carslon LEVIN, in suede in 1948 Serial number 199281 Levin is probably the most prestigious factory in Europe, This model, entirely in solid wood is sought after for its rarity and the shape of its head that can be found on high-end LEVINs. The sound is powerful, warm, and typical of Chez LEB + VIN, which, like MARTIN (with whom he worked in the USA - Levin being basically based in the USA) has a unique sound. This guitar, very versatile, is suitable for both folk, blues, slide blues (with its powerful sound) . The finish is perfect (see photo of the guitar removed before restoration) . Massive spruce top Back and sides in solid birch (wood commonly used on LEVIN) Mahogany neck Nut width: 45mm Body width (lower end) : 356mm Scale: 620mm The guitar has been restored to the level of the sides by a professional luthier) - everything is original except the bridge. It has some traces and wear (see photos for details) but is in very good condition given its age 2 mechanical head covers have been replaced Straight handle, does not move - easy to play. Holds the agreement very well like all quality guitars. Delivered with a used old chest (same time) . Secure delivery.
