Le Carnaval de Venise by Hubert de Watrigant was first released in 1993 but was forced to change its name to Fêtes Vénitiennes after a legal dispute between the city of Venice and Hermès in 1999.

Hubert de Watrigant, born in 1954 in the Landes region of France, comes from a family with strong ties to that equestrian tradition. As an autodidact artist, he won a drawing prize in Rome in 1977, paving the way for a successful career marked by numerous exhibitions and artistic projects. De Watrigant has collaborated with the prestigious fashion house Hermès for several years, creating a line of iconic scarves.Show more
